Professor Elenita “Leni” Carpio-Panganiban lived the good life. She was born on February

29, 1940 to Jose Agustin Carpio and Elena Navarro Alcazar and raised in Manila. She

was the third among six children.

Her journey is one of quiet determination, thoughtful leadership. and a steadfast belief in the power of compassion to create lasting change

She was a devoted and loving wife to Chief Justice Panganiban, a nurturing mom to five children, and a doting grandmother to ten grandchildren.
